Center for entrepreneurship and development research (CEDR) organized its 2024 entrepreneurship day on the 21st of November in Nsukka and on the 27th November at Enugu campus respectively. The guest speaker for Nsukka was an entrepreneur per excellence in the person of Dr Cosmos Maduka. con. President/CEO Coscharis Group. According to him, he had no background but because of his entrepreneurship mindset and determination he started small but today he is a multi millionaire. The speaker is Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa. Social Entrepreneur, Executive Director, Lead Network Africa and Convener, Concerned Igbo Stakeholders forum. On the other hand, the Guest speaker for that of Enugu campus is another Entrepreneur in the person of Rotarian Dr Asadu Solomon. Chairman, P.S. Energy, Masters oil and gas. He also made the students to know he also had a poor background but that status of his parents didn’t deter him. Being a child of grace and also being focused and determined, he was able to breakout from poverty to become what he is today. The take home from his speech is all about being focused and determined in life, which he encouraged the students to imbibe. The speaker is Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa.
